My life is a rollercoaster. I firmly believe in living life like you are the lead character of your film! Where I am today is a part of my crazy journey. Below are the most asked questions from my youtube subscribers that will give you a crux of my life-
I was born & raised in Bhopal, a city in Central India. We are a family of four & Me and my younger sister got a down to earth yet powerful upbringing that helped us value our roots while aiming for more. My Dad always prayed for 2 girls & upon receiving that gift, he left no stone unturned in making us strong & independent by teaching us to drive, travel solo, handle money & most importantly to always dream big. He raised the bar high for us girls! It is my Dad who encouraged me to pursue STEM education & that’s how I got a bachelors in IT engineering from Oriental College, Bhopal
Before embarking on my American adventure in 2021, I was an entrepreneur for 3 years, upscaling my ed-tech startup to $100,000. Have you ever watched Silicon Valley? I have lived a life like that with my founders! Our team of 3 did all kinds of cool & crazy stuff! We did huge events, gave interviews, we were on TV 4-5 times , we partnered with big names like Adobe, Microsoft, LinkedIn and built bonds that we still cherish!
Well, I’d love to!
How it started✈️-My first international travel was when I was 19 & got into this global ambassador program in Croatia to spend my summer working in a reform school for immigrants. It was deeply impactful in making me see the power of education! At the same time, I fell in love with travel! I was so scared of being alone then & since then I have traveled to15 countries!
My favorite destinations🌍- it's a hard one but I loved Switzerland, Hungary, Austria Bahamas and Italy!
What does travel teach you🌟- Travel teaches me to embrace uncertainty! You cannot control or predict life but rather just enjoy what it is! Travel is chaotic, just like life. Travel teaches me to enjoy every part of the journey. It makes me see that amidst the grandest natural wonders, my problems are too small and that a bigger plan of the universe is always in play making sure it will all work out!
Well here is all about my journey as a Senior Project-
🚀 Passion Unleashed: Being a project manager isn't just a job for me—it's my passion! I thrive on collaboration, leveraging strengths, and my inner entrepreneurial spirit is always on the lookout for ways to revamp and optimize processes. That might be the reason I took project management as one of my core subjects for my masters degree in engineering management.
🎙️ Talk the Talk: Public speaking is my secret weapon! Engaging with people, analyzing conversations for actionable items—this is where the magic happens.
🤝 Connect to Direct: Building genuine connections is at the core of my leadership philosophy. By fostering authentic relationships and nurturing trust, I cultivate dynamic collaborations that fuel team synergy and drive project success.
🗣️ The Mantra: In the world of project management, the cliché is true: "communication is key"! Constant, open, and honest communication is the secret sauce for saving time and achieving both team and operational goals.
Because I had offers from an Ivy League & some amazing QS top 100 universities in US & UK, I get this question a lot! Scholarship combined with the course flexibility, cost of living in Raleigh all became factors why I chose NC State. And it worked out so wonderfully! Right from working a barista job at Starbucks that taught me so much about customer service, to being chosen as the program ambassador, it turned out to be the most rewarding journey and I am so thankful for it. What's even more heartening is receiving messages from students who were influenced by my YouTube videos to choose NCSU. It's a feeling of gratitude that's hard to put into words.
Leaving the journey of my life in India wasn't easy, but I wanted more! More adventures, more learnings & more growth. Thus I decided to pursue my studies abroad. Traveling & exploring is the food for my soul & so far I have solo traveled to 15 countries.
To me learning, growing, making mistakes are all a part of discovering & creating my best version. That’s the road I am on!
